Hi all i am anew junior member have posted this before as a guest first i need to say sorry to Ostell for not sending any attachments to my last post i did not know how to still don't , doe's my grandson have to pay the parking notice charge or not he appealed to Excel parking who had sent the fine through the post they then told him he had broken the contract with them by not putting all of he's reg in he said the machine would not let him put all of he's reg in only the letter S i then sent the second appeal to ias who favoured Excel Parking Services of Sheffield as was expected.i have told him not to pay as he is admitting he parked when he should not of was i right or wrong to tell him this. I will pay if it goes to court but not pay the fine for him. I believe he should not have to pay if he had a ticket to park. pay if it goes to court but not pay the fine for him. He was only there to go to a meeting about the whiplash he received in he's other car which was written off and it had been cancelled anyway . P.S. if you tell me how i will post the pcn both side's and a copy of the ticket i have scanned them.

If he has admitted to being the driver and failing to pay then htere is not a lot that can be done but if their equipment failed and would not let him enter the numbers he would probably have a reasonable chance in court.
It's not a fine, it's an invoice for a sum he agreed to pay if he broke the rules.
