Can I get some advise I bought a car for 14 thousand and had to get it picked up from Leeds . As soon as I got it back I noticed the panel at the back had fell off plus the other side had been glued . The left side light had water in it and one of the panels keeps popping out seems like it may of been in a accident at some point . I contacted the dealer shop straight away and they said if I bought the car back to Leeds they would fix them . Hadonly drive the car short distance at this point so decided to put my foot down to about sixty which then made the car want to stop so slowed it down again did this again and same happened which frightened me . I rang them again the salesman said it is limp mode can b sorted iv requested a full refund as I’m sure I’m entitled to but there rejecting this . What do I do next as I’m not feeling safe with this car and had issues since it first came on my drive can anyone help please 14000 cash is a lot of money to loose

Have you put this request to the garage in writing and quoted the Consumer RIghts Act 2015? Have you got any documentation for them acknowledging that there was a problem?

It is definitely a lot of cash. I understand your worries. I had almost the same situation but the damage wasn't that big. Thankfully, the dealer centre decided to solve everything on its own. They changed the car. Easy and fast (which is surprising). The only thing remained to get back was a baby seat (I had it installed in my first car. )SPAM LINK REMOVED spent a lot of time to choose the best option. It was hurt to lose the first seat but ultimately it's not a big deal. I needed to replace the car or get money back and it happened.
