  • Response Pack Form N9

    Hi
i need advice on completing for N9 regarding defending a Caveat I entered in my Godfather’s Probate.
I intend to acknowledge the Claim but have no representation due to the costs of hiring a solicitor.

This is an extremely long story and I hope no one will jump to the conclusion that I am a disgruntled beneficiary who has randomly entered a vexatious Caveat , as that is not the case.
The circumstances surrounding a will that was made at his bedside whilst heavily medicated and unable to breathe is what I want proved in solemn form.
There are too many issues regarding the will I am disputing to list.
There are 3 different peoples handwriting (none of them are his) on a poorly drafted will in which his middle name is completely wrong and then crossed out and initialed by the witnesses who were the health assistants on his ward who gave him breakfast etc.
One of his signatures is blatantly copied and pasted.
Unfortunately as I haven’t got the resources to enter a claim myself then I have to cease this opportunity to represent my Godfather as he can’t represent himself against the greedy ruthless person who took advantage of a poorly 82yr old man.

Id appreciate any help completing the form and how /where I enter either ‘ I do not raise any positive case but insist on the Will being proved in solemn form’.
Any advice would be sincerely appreciated as I didn’t realise there is a time limit involved to complete and return the acknowledgment etc.
Many thanks in advance of any help .
