I had full insurance cover (loss and damage) for my iphone, which I pay for at the cost of a tenner a month. My contract is dues to end imminently and my insurance with it, but I dropped my phone on Friday, while visiting my mum in hospital and and have seriously messed up my screen, not just the cracks, lines and black blobs. .. the phone useless and wildly misbeahaving ..its setting up groups, ,forwarding photos, ringing random people and entering incorrect pins all on its own (the bastard) ..I digress..im with 3 and the full insurance is 3 rescue..however despite full cover and the promise of next day delivery of a new replacement..they have demanded I print off and compete a form that they are emailing me it alongside and send copies of my ID and a utility bill..yet despite calling them every day I have not received the email (a claim over a year ago did not require this hoop jumping ) and every day theu claim they either have or will send me the email. However today..the guy I spoke to admitted they only demand this, if I am a serial claimant (once in 4 years) or near the end of my contract! I am getting the strong feeling that they are refusing to comply so im forced to go into a new contract..not impressed! Any idea what to do and how to approach it? I would ask my husband ..well actually I did but he's really not that interested and I really need my phone
3 mobile phone insurance '3 rescue'

WRITE (email will do) telling them that if they don't indemnify you as per the policy conditions you will initiate a court claim for breach of contract and you will be looking for performance of contract. Give them 10 days.
Point out that you have notified them of the claim and there is no need for you to prove who you are as you have been insured by them for X years and they know full well who you are.
If they believe the claim is fraudulent the onus is on them to prove it. If they agree the claim is genuine it is their contractual and fiduciary duty to meet it in a timely fashion.
Send letter to their CEO as well https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-9629
