Hi, I am being chased by lowell portfolio over an old Littlwoods account, it looks like it will be going to court, Littlewoods transfered/sold my account to lowell about 14 months ago.
They are now claiming I owe them about £650, Littlewoods wer claiming I owed them about £450. I have finally found out what went wrong with my buy now pay later littlewoods account.
I couldn't remember how much the dehumidifier cost so looked it up on the site and it was £340, anyway I paid it off with a single payment well before the 12 months were up and thought that was that. It turns out that they had lowered the price of the item by £25.99 without me noticing/realising. Littlewoods then after the 12 months on the buy now pay later account started relentlessly hounding me for £450, I told them were to stick it, as far as I was concerned I had paid it off.
So littlewoods have charged me for the full failure to pay before 12 months were up. Now lowell portfolio are saying I am them £650, this is all over a schoolboy error of £25.99, this lacks any kind of morals, I am appauled by it all.
Will the county court judge see reason with me over a £25.99 error and say it all lacks morals, or will he order me to pay the whole account of £650.
