  • Overpayment of tax credit letter from 2010

Hi I have just started receiving letters from hrmc saying I owe over 1000 from a claim in 2010 year
this was an address I had to leave due to domestic violence and stated a new claim with just my daughter at my new address I stopped claiming in 2013 when my daughter left

obviously I have no paperwork from 2010 and this claim was with my exhusband at a previous address
can they still pursued me for this from 2010
