  • Parking fine letter from Gladstones solicitors

    Hi everyone,

Hope you can help me? So I have just received the attached letter from Gladstones solicitor regarding an unpaid parking fine. This follows a string of letters from various debt collecting companies trying to recover the payment of the parking fine. I haven’t made any contact with anyone regarding this but am now at the point of now knowing whether to ignore this too or just pay it.

I pregrudge paying this as I feel that the company who own the land where my car was parked have made no loss.

    I welcome your advice.

    Many thanks in advance

This is another letter from debt collector DRP. Look at who it asks you to contact to pay. They borrow the Gladstones letter heading.

    Ignore.

As for the original PCN can you post it up suitably redacted so that you are not identified but leave dates. They can hold you, the keeper, liable for a charge incurred by the driver but they have to jump through a few hoops first, and get it right. No loss is not an excuse.

This is not a fine, it is an invoice for the charge that the driver agreed to for a breach of the conditions when they parked the car.
