Hi, I'm new to the forum and am having an issue with the lovely people at Lowells. I've been in dispute with them for some time since they purchased an old Argos debt of mine in 2016. I've been disputing the amount they say is due and have been unable to get complete documentation off them to check the position. They debt would have become statute barred in May 2019 and, inevitably, they've now issued County Court proceedings which I am minded to defend. Question is, is the CCA valid? I know a lot of old Argos CCA's aren't worth the paper they're written on so I've uploaded what Argos and Lowells have sent me in terms of the CCA which was on the back of the application form and came with a copy of some random (undated) terms and conditions. The CCA is from 2007. Any advice would be most appreciated. Due to file an Ack of Service if I'm going to defend by 10 Feb.
