Hi I bought car from private person through gumtree, on his ad he state that engine car and gearbox is perfect, but when I realise after paying the money that car engine light is on and heater not work, contact the seller he refuse to give money back, I call police they said contact citizen advice beauro. Any help plz?

Sorry for the unfortunate situation you find yourself in. To start pointless ringing the police, its not a criminal matter.
Buying a car second hand privately is the most riskiest form as it leaves you with little protection in the event anything goes wrong.
When did the light come on?
Did you mention it to the seller? if so what did he/she say??
Have you stopped using the vehicle?
