So my partner found out that a judgement in default was issued in December for a credit card debt which was the first we heard about it.
The judgement was sent to our old address which we moved out of in September. I'm not denying that a debt could be owed but to be honest we don't know as my partners mental health has caused debt issues in the past.
The issue I do have is no letter or claim form was ever sent to her at our old address, which they must have had considering the judgement was sent there.
What I need is some advice on what to do next. If the money is owed the I will happily pay it, but this is the first we heard if it.
