Hi there I am after some advice if possible regarding the Natwest Global restructuring group. I have a complaint lodged with Natwest over the way they badly treated my company during the financial crash, and Natwest have taken the last 3-4 months to 'collate all the necessary information' in preparation for reviewing my claim. They wrote to me a few days ago saying they had now collated all the information and the complaint was now going to be reviewed in detail. They have now emailed me today saying they can't locate any of the relevant loan facility agreements and have asked me if I have a copy that I could send them so they can use my copy in their review of my complaint.
My question is this - should I send the document or not? I had to pay the bank a very large sum of money to settle my personal guarantee, and I lost a valuable asset in the process and if there is no document then surely there is no contract ? or am I being too simplistic and should I just send the document. It sounds like the bank has messed up. They have said in their email that if I don't send the document then they will still review everything without it, but surely the loan documents are central.
Any advice welcome, also if anyone has had any successful claims against GRG. I am a bit stuck as to how I should proceed.
Many thanks
