  • Defending against a county court parking claim

After paying £2.50 for a days parking I was surprised when I returned to find a parking notice on my wind screen. The ticket had slipped to the site and was only partially visible
Despite challenging this with evidence of my ticket I have got no where. For six months I have been bombard using bully boy tactics and threats eventually receiving a county court letter with a claim against me for £185 including court fee. Although I live in Yorkshire I am prepared to present myself at the County Court in Northampton to defend myself. I would really welcome some advice. The notice I received states I should reply within 14 days and almost a week has passed with Christmas and New year.
