  • What happens if you dont pay a Parking Eye fine?

hello, The driver of the vehicle paid £6 to park in the Britannia Adelphi Car Park in Liverpool. They parked there for 6 hours and 30 minutes. The driver thought the £6 was for the day.

I have now received a parking charge notice for £100 reduced to £60 if paid promptly by Parking Eye. I am not sure what the fine is for as it doesn't say on the charge notice. Is this legal? do I have to pay the fine? how are they allowed to get my personal details like name & address? I have tried to google the parking site to find out what their actual car park prices are but there is nothing to be found on the web.

Please edit your post so that the driver of the vehicle cannot be identified eg refer to "the driver".
Can you also post up the notice you have received.
I'll tag our resident help for you ostell

Post up the PCN suitably redacted but leave dates.

They got your details as the registered keeper from the DVLA.

Pictures of the signs would help. Which payment machine did you use. the council one or the PE one?

The PCN has to say why they are charging you. If you don't respond they take it to court.
