Hi all,I'm new here I could really do with some advice, I recently started back to work after a long-term sickness, and I've just found out my local council took out a charging order against me in 2013 without my knowledge and was stopping money from my benefits, now I'm back at work they have sent me a letter asking for my employment details so they can apply for an attachment of earnings order.
The thing s there is no proof I have ever lived at the address they say I did have been registered at my home address since 2007 and paying council tax on my property. my question is.
How can they take money from me for a property I have never rented or owned just on someones say so.
