Hi there
I had a finance agreement with Moneybarn which I volentary terminated in August 2018 after reaching the 50% mark. Moneybarn have accepted tje half way rule and said they have terminated the agreement and no regular payments arw being made or due. However they wont put a VT stamp against the credit agreement on my credit report.
They say they arw waiting for a final bill to settle the account. Whilst I agree there may be some damages to pay as the car was parked outside my mechanics and its side passenger window got smashed the day of collection. I dont think this is part of finance agreement. my VT letter went in on the 10th They accepted it had been terminated in the 24th in writing. The car was not collected until the 5th.
I understand they can claim against me for reasonable damages. iam reasonable man but they (Moneybarn) keep suggesting that they will default the account unless I pay the final balance bill when it comes and bring my account upto date (but i dont have an "account" becuase the credit agreement is terminated already) i want to write a letter to convince them not to do report a default on my credit file..... I have never been late and made every single payment for 2.5 years on time every time. can someone help me please i applying for a mortage and this will ruin it ...
