letter before action

Hi everyone, I had a debt with a catalogue company, who sold my debt after they placed a default on my credit file. I am looking for help because solicitors sent a letter of claim in April of this year, they received my reply via recorded delivery in May, I requested documents, the Pre-Action Protocols say they have 30 days to respond or explain why they haven`t....I have not had a reply from the solicitors in regard to the PAP, is there a timescale in which a letter of action is valid? Any advice would be fantastic as I`m going round in circles here. Many thanks.

Debt is like any other trap, easy enough to get into, but hard enough to get out of.

It doesn't matter where your journey begins, so long as you begin it...
