I started an government funded apprenticeship in 2016. I have now completed it and looking to leave my job to earn more money at a different company. My contract states if I leave before 3 years I have to pay back a certain amount of costs. Is it correct that I have to pay back anything that was government funded or just what my boss has paid

D95. The price agreed by the employer and the lead provider must include all the direct
costs of training and end-point assessment to meet the standard. Apprentices must
not make any cash contribution for training that is specified in the standard, or be
asked to contribute financially to the direct cost of training or end-point assessment
for an apprenticeship.
D96. Professional membership and subscriptions, are not considered direct costs of
learning. Employers may ask apprentices to pay either in full or contribute towards
these costs
Have you a copy of your apprectice agreement / employment contract ? ( Many companies standard employment contract include a training payback clause but it shouldn't be applicable for apprentices )
Can you type out the clause which states you need to repay training costs pls
And have you discussed with your employer at all what happens at the end of your apprenticeship ? Do they not have a permanent position there to progress to ?
