Hi all, new to this so please bear with me.
I have been 'screwedover' by a former business partner. The end results are in a bulleted format below:
1. Share swap, I swapped my shares in my business and his never occurred, although agreed in writing
2. I funded the business from revenue earned from my business that he is a 50% owner
3. I was the COO
4. Contact of employment with no salary ever paid
5. Summarily dismissed on spurious grounds (i refused to put in more cash without formally having the shares issued)
Lots going on
For this thread
I have two items of equipment (mobile and voip phone)
1. The former employer says I own two VOIP phones (I only have one) and a mobile (although I ported across my personal number and he will not return it)
2. Former employer detailed what I have, all details are wrong, wrong phone wrong IMIE number, wrong details etc
I have suggested with a without prejudice letter
I return one VOIP that I have in my possession, never disputed
The mobile contract length is transferred to me so I pick up the remaining contract period (this can be done)
Response form employer is that they will pursue through litigation.
Thoughts on how to deal with?
