Hiya all I'm new to this site glad I found it though as it's got alot of answers for different issues I was wondering if someone can shed some light to my question I would be very grateful I recently used a ppi company with much regret! My problem is they now want payment which I know I have to pay and don't have an issue with that the problem is I can only afford to pay £800 in full the bill is for £1021ive asked if I can set up a standing order to pay the rest and was very rudely told by the guy I spoke to that it had to be paid by the deadline (which is today) in full as they don't do standing orders and it would mean a ccj against me if I didn't pay the full amount I did argue the fact I am willing to pay but can not afford the full amount but he was having none of it and even said for me to use my overdraft to pay him with! My question is can I pay in instalments and will it put a ccj against my name? Thanks in advance
Ppi fees can I pay back in instalments?

Which company is it and is it only commission on a refund or are there breach of contract / cancellation charges in there ?
If a refund was it it refunded off an outstanding balance or a cash/ cheque payment to you ?#staysafestayhome

They can't put a CCJ against your name without taking you to court first and then you lose and then you don't pay within a month. Since the whole process of a court claim can take many months can you not send them the £800 you can afford now and keep paying towards the total over the next few months.

That's what I offered, to pay the rest off in instalments each month of £50. The guy said they don't do any kind of payment plans and it had to be paid in full. He used bully tactics and even questioned my financial situation and quoted "as he knew I could pay in full" i needed to pay there and then which i didnt do
