Help please

Hi guys, I really need some help. I done something very silly at my local tkmaxx. I saw a bag I really liked changed the tag paid for the item with the cheaper tag and security caught me when I was leaving, they took me into this room where he said that he’d seen everything that I had done, he took my details and a picture of my licence. I’ve been banned from tkmaxx stores if I enter it would be classified as trespassing. He made me sign the sheet, no police will were involved and he mentioned that they would send a letter to my address with the a fine. I then got a refund for the amount I paid for the bag.

So here are the things that im confused about
-how long does the letter take to arrive.
-do I need to pay it or shall I ignore
-if I haven’t cause the store or company any loss why did I go through i.e. pay a fine
-i’m also applying for my permanent residency will I have a criminal record? will this affect the progress.
-and also should I have anything to worry about?

-if I haven’t cause the store or company any loss why did I go through i.e. pay a fine not a fine, simply a begging letter
-i’m also applying for my permanent residency will I have a criminal record? NO will this affect the progress NO.
-and also should I have anything to worry about?NO
