compensation orders

hi all,

i'm new to all this and was hoping somebody could give some advice on what rights i have towards bailiffs regarding an unpaid compensation order dating back to 2001.

also what can they do to get back the money.
they are not being reasonable and expect me to pay the amount in 7 days or incur further costs
the amount they say i owe is currently £1600.00 can someone please HELP....
