Have received the attached from Link, This must be a response from the letter (#89) i sent on the 8th October, Are you able to help me on what my next step would be if any? - Thank you for your help in this matter

Well, they did a very detailed investigation didn't they... lol …. I wouldn't worry about that letter at all.

Did you ever get a reply from Barclaycard directly on your subject access request ?

I've not got anything directly from Barclaycard i have only received letter from Link, So i don't need to do anything at the moment? but are they not going to chase me more now?

I'd chase Barclaycard.

You are paying your £1 a month. If you stop paying that then activity will probably ramp up to collect, yes. You won't go statute barred due to the long term payments you've been making, but at the moment you know that if you stopped paying and they tried to take court action they don't 'currently' have the right documents and you could probably defend the case.

But I'd chase Barclaycard for a response to the SAR you sent, well, almost a year ago... they should have sent everything within 30 days !

Attached is the letter is sent on the 19th September 2018 but honestly i will have to check as i'm sure I've only ever got documents from Link but i'm not 100% sure as been over a year i can't really remember, If i haven't received anything do i just resend the attached?

I will continue to keep paying the £1 a month

Yes that looks fine, I'd send a chase up letter if you can't see that you did have anything back from them.

Hi Amethyst,

Have received the attached which is about it going to their dispute team but i had a letter which i attached at #91 saying that it was no longer under dispute so getting confused about what's happening, is it going to their dispute team again? also i have checked and cannot see that i got anything direct from Barclays regarding my SAR request i sent it on the 19th September 2018, I only have received documents from Link, Should i resend the letter again or do i send them some sort of letter asking where is it? Thank you for helping me in this matter

Okay don't worry about the letter from Link, they are investigating the issues you raised in your last letter ( although don't expect them to come back with anything actually worth hearing ).

Might be simpler to start over with the SAR to Barclays.... I'd try via their GDPR data access form - https://www.apply.barclays.co.uk/for...execution=e1s1

Hi Amethyst,

Have received the attached from Westcot which is the first letter i have received from them and i can only assume that it's regarding my Halifax debt (it says HBOS) should i send them a CCA & Sars request??

Also i had a letter from Barclays regarding my SAR request but they have come back saying that they have a different address from the one i gave them but i have details from Link #85 which has the address i gave Barclays so i'm confused how they have me down under a different address

Wescot are only hopeful collection (Commission) agents - no powers, any request you send them has to be passed on,,, see what they come up with next in their hopeful Xmas Party funds?

Hi Amethyst, I have received the attached from Link asking me to make monthly payments, The last letter i got from them was on the 24th October (see #97) Do i now have to try and make these payments as i really cannot afford to pay the attached every month for about 100 months, Are you able to advise me on what my next step should be? if you could help it would be really appreciated.*
