Letter from Link Financial

Hi,

Received an email yesterday - (don't know how they got my email) saying - Urgent Contact Request - Please contact the team at Link on telephone number 03330 145 145 quoting reference 1513246 but i sent them the letter from post 20th July which they received on the 23rd July as i sent it out signed for and now they have emailed me asking to contact them but i don't really want to speak to them on the phone as they will then have my phone number i would guess, I have not received any letters from them since i sent the letter, so should i resend the letter to them again as the email address it came from was Link Financial Outsourcing Ltd <noreply@linkfinancial.eu> as this looks like a email address you cannot reply to

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as i feel now that they are starting to hound me

I wouldn't engage by email at all. Ignore their emails and only respond to letters ( if necessary ) - mark their messages as Spam/Junk and entirely ignore them. When/If you have to write to them again then tell them in that letter you withdraw any permission to communicate by email or telephone and only in writing.

Did you send a CCA request / SAR to them ? If not that might be an idea too as it seems they aren't actually going to be satisfied with your token payments for very long so it's a good idea to be gathering information/documentation in case they do try to take any further action.

Possibly also worth sending a SAR to Barclaycard directly.

Sorry but in the CCA letter it says i enclose £1.00 but i don't have a cheque book
