Hi I'm new so firstly hello everyone

so yesterday I was detained for shoplifting. The store security and the "safe-net" (shop wide linked security guys) all wanted to slap me on the wrists and let me go. The store manager refused and insisted on the police. When the police arrived 2 hours later they decided a CRO was appropriate.i agreed to this. I had to sign an exclusion order from the shop itself. The police officer was really nice. After I verbally agreed the CRO with him he went away into an office to get the paperwork. When he came back he told me the CRO info had gotten "lost" and that he would send it too me via email. He then told me to go. This was yesterday afternoon. I've been checking my email constantly and nothing? Was this his way of meeting me off? Or will he really email it? He said in the store it was "lost"? Also I have social care involvement so I'm scared about what they can access and see about this misdemeanor? Can they contact the store itself for info? Will this show on my CRB heck? Do I have to physically sign a CRO? all help gratefully received

CROs do not need to be signed, but most often are so that there is no possibility that offender can later deny it has been agreed.
A CRO is issued when there is an admission by the offender of the offence but has come to an agreement with the victim over the conditions (in this instance exclusion from the store) of the CRO.

It is not a criminal conviction but details will be held locally for 6 +1 years and may be disclosed on an enhanced DBS check. There is no requirement for offender to declare CR.

The store should not disclose this incident to any third party

What you are likely to receive is a letter from a company referring to itself as a loss prevention company and requesting you pay them shedloads of money for dreamt up costs you have caused their client.
The letter will be legalistic and threatening in tone.
Just ignore it as they have no right to any money from you.
They will send a series of letters, getting ever more threatening, but if you ignore them they eventually give up.
