Hi, this is my first post here.
my partner is having a very messy time with her ex regarding her son, she wants to be able to legally put in place a contact order for him, but she is worried about a previous DUI conviction being used against her in court. At the time of the DUI she was in no normal state of mind, she was depressed and put into a very awkward position which resulted in her driving the car after drinking, I am in no way defending what she did was right but it was a mistake she made and regrets ever doing it, she hasn't driven since and very rarely drank since. This is always looming over her head and she is worried it could go against her in a family court.
