  • N244 - which court?

Hi, New member here! I am filling in n244 to have a ccj set aside. The claim form was addressed to Northampton County Court, the judgment was issued by County Court Money Claims Centre in Salford, the Notice of Enforcement was issued through Gloucester and Cheltenham District Registry. Where should I send the form?
    Thanks in advance!

Before you go ahead it may be better to tell us something of what happened, after all the application fee is £255, I assume from the reference to a District Registry you have been visited or contacted by HCEO.

Hi, thanks for the reply. This is on behalf of a friend who had an accident driving a taxi. He was a named driver on the taxi owners insurance. It seems that the other party was writing to the defunct address of a solicitor which must have been provided by the owner or his insurer.
All correspondence was returned undelivered. Judgment issued by default. The first my friend knew was notice of enforcement from High Court Enforcement Group, issued 29 May.

Worth adding that they had the driver's address all along, so oughtn't they to have written to him when correspondence to the solicitor was being returned undelivered?

I've asked the same question now in General Money and Debt Issues, thank you.
