  • Hello and which thread to post in?

    Hello all,

Thanks in advance for any advice, I'm new here and admittedly started a thread before popping into the welcome area I'm sorry. I just wondered if I could confirm I posted in the right place? My thread is under motoring & parking>PPC's> IAS 'Highview parking charge notice'

Its regarding a parking charge notice dated 3rd May which wasn't received until the 8th for a a parking contravention on the 20th April.

I appreciate it was just a bank holiday weekend so I don't know if the driver can state s9 protection of freedoms act 2012 schedule 4 about getting the notice within 14 days? It had been 18 days, if 2 days is allowed for post should it not have been delivered on the 5th May since post is still delivered on Saturdays? The driver does not feel comfortable ignoring the letters.

£90 seems unfair considering the mostly empty car park!

    Thanks again for your time!
