I have recently received a £100 PCN for parking in the Peel Centre in stockport for 73 minutes. I was completely unaware that it was a pay and display car park as there are minimal signs and I have since found out that there only seems to be a sign at the entrance to the car park where you cannot safely stop to read it. I'm currently on maternity leave so was only there for so long as I was feeding a screaming baby in the car. I did shop in Hobbycraft and B&M. Is there anything I can do? I have until 30th March to pay the reduced(!!) £60 fine. It just seems like a ludicrous amount of money!! Especially whilst not earning. I have attached the notice.
