hello regarding lowrell finance/solicitors.

hello i am planing on going to citizens advice about this to but as today is friday thought i would ask here. i have been receiving letters from lowrell finance since november 2017 regarding a studio account i had at my old address that i move from in 2015. i have ignored the letters but today i got a letter from them with a letter from lowrell solicitors saying notice of acting. i dont no anything about this kind of thing as i usually pay things i owe. the situation was that i had a brief relationship with one of the neighbours at my old address and for 2 years the guy stalked and harassed me i eventually recorded what was going on and took the evidence to the police they then got me removed from that address within 2 months of me telling them thats how serious it was. i was paying the balance on this account until shortly before i moved and as i had to move so quickly i did not get any letters that the account was in debt or that they had sold it to lowell and was not in a position to go back and collect any mail due to the circumstances and to be honest it was not my top priority at that time. not sure what to do? and i am reluctant to contact them without seeking advice first thank you.
