    Hi There

I always park everyday on a NCP car park in wolverhampton and have an app set up on my phone to pay daily as i work in wolves
About 2 weeks ago my car wasnt working so i had to borrow my dads, this wasnt a problem and i changed the reg over to my fathers and parked as normal,
the problem arose yesterday when trying to park as normal using the app, the app failed to work 3 times but on the fourth time went through as normal with no problems, or so i thought!!
on returning to my car i had a pcn because the app had gliched and put my fathers number plate through instead of my own, i tried calling them and they have insited i go through the same process as everyone else. i know there is a lawyer on here who specialises in this subject and would like some advice please (i believe he has the handle mystery)

    many thanks
    lucy ralph

So their app failed. Edit your post so that the identity of the driver is not revealed. Appeal through their appeal process towards the end of the time limit for appealing, normally so that it arrives on day 26 of the 28 days. You appeal AS THE KEEPER stating that the driver paid and their app failed to work correctly, You cannot be liable as the payment was made.

The hope is that they try to save £2.50 by not applying to the DVLA to get the keepers details. If they don't get the keepers details then they can't chase the keeper and hopefully they don't know the name of the driver. Do they know the identity of the driver, yes or know?

ive already appealed it and yes they know the identity, lets see what happens as they will lose out more by the fact ill never park there again and they make £15 of me a week
