  • GOV.UK VAT Notice 701/7: VAT reliefs for disabled and older people. Denied!

I tried to claim tax relief with VAT Notice 701/7: reliefs for disabled and older people. https://www.gov.uk/government/public...d-older-people ] . I tried for the vehicle and subsequent items, upgrades, fridge, aircon, replacement battery box, etc. All items to enhance my vehicle for disabled use.
I was told pay up your VAT, or we will take your goods back and bar you from the MOD auction (It isn't the actual MOD but a partner!). I would like to know what I can do about this flagrant attempt to deny me my rights as a disabled person.
I can't see anything that excludes me or says the items are not eligible for zero rating, can anybody see if I have made a mistake? Please go to the link and inform me of my next step.

    Kindest regards
    Victor

Would need a fuller explanation of what you have actually bought etc and the reasons for the fitments but it sounds on what you said so far that you cannot claim for these.
