Hi there. I have doorstep loans from provident and in august 2017 i made a payment to a new agent. I recieved a statememt at the end of aug and i noticed the payment logged wasnt correct. To make it short it has taken until the end of december for thier investigation to come back with a gesture of good will as they wont except fault and a £30 cheque for my hassel. I sent the cheque back as i think the agent stole some of my payment but the main thing is i never was given a payment book for the loans i have or any reciepts of any payments i ever made. Is this a breach of contract on providents end and can i get the loans written off due to this neglect?..when i made the area manager aware of this fact during the complaint i recieved a book the next week even though i asked agents repeatedly for one.
