  • Mobile phone debt.

Good afternoon all I am looking for advice please .
I've a virgin account that has been sold to Lowell I've sent out the first of three letters there reply was mobile net works don't come under CCA. If this is correct there must be some other proof of claim that they could supply.
They say that legally own the debt. Thank you.

    the first of three letters]

ah. That sounds as though you have been reading one of the various internet forums which advocate the so-called three letter process. Those letters are a complete legal nonsense, they won't help you and if you do have a good legal defence, they will actually get in the way of it.

How old is this account? when did you last make a payment to it? what is the rest of your financial situation like?

Defending a CCJ is likely to be difficult if they take you to court. Have you talked to a debt adviser about your whole financial situation?

Good morning yes I've been in touch with step change there is no ccj on this one as yet but I haven't had any proof of claim or dead of assignments from the company yet either. Not trained in any of this just going on what I read up on.
