  • Can I ask a question please

This afternoon while in Asda spending Mr Delta's money, I was telling him about what has been happening on the over the road and stuff and I was telling him about this place.

Now he asked a very valid question, in that are those that are upset by what has happened still going to contribute when they get their winnings, or are people able to contribute to this site, even if only to help with the server fees etc?

So I just thought I would ask, as I don;t seem to see anything anywhere with regard to donating here.

There is currently a payment system being set up for donations but I think it speaks volumes that the founders of this site set up the help systems and the template letters without a thought for how donations were going to be made or received. Obviously shows they have their priorities right - thanks guys xx

Awwwww thanks Ian. xxxx Absolute bunkum of course.........give us your money!!

No, we do plan to get a donate button set up as well as VIP membership to a secret forum we are building.

In truth we want the main forum to operate without hassling people for money, hopefully newbies will be inclined to donate but shortly the site will start earning its keep through its links to the solicitors who will be providing legal services.

What we are hoping is that the forum will become very busy and people will consider using us to arrange wills, conveyancing, trust deeds and even divorces

There will also be a claims management service for those who cant/wont handle their bank claims but it will be ethical and vastly cheaper than any of the so called ambulance chasers. We are hoping to recover costs for this directly from the banks enabling people to keep more of their money. Also because these firms are affiliated with us, they will be up to date on all the latest legal developments happening.

The main advantage for us of welcoming all the people who have already claimed and probably donated elsewhere is the value of their advice and support on the forum. To be honest it is impossible to put a value on that, but in my opinion, it's priceless. Thanks you guys.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

It will be similar to the VIP donator forum on PC where for a modest donation, members will be the first to get all the gossip and scandal, oops I mean hot news!!

enaid, we are all nosey. I think it is a slowly slowly catchey monkey. It is quite nice to be on a small forum and be able to watch it grow and grow. Hopefully we will be busier and busier. We have the info and good stuff at that. Let us hope that we steer clear of attacks and make it a great site all round. I love this, it is like a newborn baby, no talk, all inquisitive(apart from the getting up in the middle of the night bit!!)

Well i'm a firm believer nattie in big is not always best, I have had to be in my life
I do hope this site grows, but in proportion with the people that need help and not just a matter of self importance. I can't call cag at all until the matter with Fendy.
I started on the ML site and was left behind, not being PC literate and had no clue about the web. I never even got a reply. Then when i saw people going off the pages at cag with no reply i could have cried. Some replies too were not very kind either. Anyway as you say a new start and I wish you all the best. Enaid

Enaid, I hope the site grows and that means working hard as members to help people settle in. For example, welcoming people, and making sure the information is clear and concise. I am still looking across charges boards to see if there are more questions unanswered that we can put on here. To me that is important to people, to have a reference point to go to and not trawl sites for info.
What happened with Fendy on the CAG angered me no end. I am pleased she is here because she is a great addition to the site, as are you and everyone else who crossed the road. This site is not about egos or self importance. To date no thread has been modified or edited except by the posters themselves. It is a learning curve but it is one we all are learning,

What seems to have been forgotten on other sites is that you have no forum without people, people who use your forum are your greatest asset, it doesn't matter how many times your face is in the daily mail, if people don't use your site you're fighting a losing battle. To upset a few of your most regular users is a grave error, word travels fast and I have found in our community people stick together sometimes more so than they would have in 'real life'. Not everyone is computer literate enaid, not everyone can type quickly and I hope that I have never intimidated or left someone out because they cannot type as quickly as me. Everyone is welcome as long as EVERYONE gets along, there is no divide between mods and users, we are all here for the same purpose. I love this site and I have made some of my closest friends through it. I hope everyone remembers what point to this site is (and it isnt making money contrary to the rumour mill grinding elsewhere) and can all live together as one big force against the banks.

Thanks for that Ruthie, you are exactly right about the people being the site. I still can't believe how a certain friend of mine was treated and in my opinion there was no need for the request or rather the option they gave her about her thread.
