Should make no difference to the results you get, but for the record on most pages you don't have to click "what's new" first before you click "new posts". Should be a link on the toolbar anyway.

ok so Amethyst has proved it is your PC. Next we need to prove the ID. Can you test by creating a new ID and see if the same happens there. If it does then it is the PC, if not then it is the ID on the PC. Also, please send the url on the what's new button by doing right-mouse copy hyperlink and then pasting into the reply.

If it works in Chrome that makes it an IE problem. try running in IE safe mode (right-mouse run in safe mode on an IE icon).

Sorry computer Guru but I have no idea what most of that means! I have both Chrome and IE set ups and I simply switched to Chrome –It is no problem sticking with Chrome. Do I really need to actually set up a new ID (As in new registration?) and I honestly do not know where to start on the other bits!!!!:noidea:

If you are happy with Chrome then stick at that point. If you want to switch back to IE then we can work it out with you and I promise to start writing in English not gibberish. The new ID thing pre-dated the Chrome result so it is not relevant now anyway. I think you should find a large glass of wine and pretend none of this ever happened!

                    pmsl, ummmm.

I will TRY and fix the view more on the what's happened box.... once I work out what the heck happened to it to make it go to the N/A page in the first place.

For now though, wine sounds good.

Oh it was not gibberish but you have to make allowances for the fact that my computer knowledge is based on evolving as the computer did and before IT departments. We had to ‘figure it out for ourselves’. So…although I have been using computers since they were almost made of wood everything is called a ‘thingy’ or a ‘whatsisname’. –This was back in the day when I had a broad mind and a narrow waist!!!!

Recommend fix first wine afterwards or it will be whine afterwards...
