Can anyone help me, I've had a parking charge for exceeding the free stay period at a car park. There is no machines at this said carpark so if your times up, you just have to leave. Anyway the date recorded on the invoice was 20/11/2020 (3hrs 47mins)
date of issue for the invoice was 30/11/2020 however I only just received this in the post today (10/12/2020)
Can I appeal this?
theyve noted on the letter if I pay before 14/12/2020 the fine will reduce to £50 instead of £100
The driver genuinely was xmas shopping in a busy retail park so was using the facilities.
