of course it could all backfire on Simon and people may not vote for his acts as revenge - so could be Jamie and Danyl in the bottom two, just for that reason.

I agree about the backing singers for Jedward I was struggling to hear what they were singing (if they were)

I thought Stacey gave real emotion to the song , which I did not know , but was apparently written shortly before Freddie Mercury died.

Slight change of format for me this week



Top 2 based on tonight's performances

1) Joe McElderry - Performance of the series so far imo.

2) Stacey Soloman - Not as good as last week but still way ahead of the rest of the pack.

The rest were extremely mediocre tonight.

Who should win overall - Don't care
Who will probably win overall - Joe McElderry

Who should be in the bottom two this week - John and Edward & Danyl
Who will probably go this week - Danyl

I agree with Budgie 100% Joe Mc Elderry was just amazing this evening and he showcased his voice and nailed a very difficult song. I now believe he has a great chance of winning this competition.

I too still enjoyed Stacey's song although it was no where near as good as last week.

Danyl's performance I just did not like or enjoy and Olly's I thought this week did not suit him at all and did not showcase him as in previous weeks.

Well as for Jedward and Lloyds they are totally out of their depth in this competition.

I agree with you both although I do think Stacy is great and Olly too.

Personally I now believe that all parents should remove their kids mobiles and stop them voting for the muppet twins and Lloyd.

It's Joe for me, I have liked him from the start. IMO a very unassuming nice young man, with a great voice and good looks.
If Bill and Ben get through this week I will send for the gardener and little weed, that'll scare em.

Wasn't impressed by any of them....personally I was more interested in the torture of Katie Price after the X Factor.....now where is that redial button for her to do another Bushtucker Trial!!!!

Had to record it on account of being out last night. Watched it twice today (second time cos OH was still in bed this morning when I watched it). Have ro say that Joe was absolutely outstanding and actually I rewound him twice. Stacey is very good too, I think they will be the final two, and if I were a betting person I would put a tenner on Joe. Wish I'd done that at the start cos his odds will have shortened drastically now.

What's the difference between a merchant bank and Katie Price (aka. ******)?

Both are institutions whose reputation is built on assets that, on closer inspection, turn out to be entirely artificial, vastly over-inflated and in danger of going through the floor at any moment. But at least Katie Price is still worth something.

After the performances last night I really do believe it is Lloyds turn to finally go he is nowhere near as good as the other singers.

I still belive that Joe who gave a superb performance again last night will win the Xfactor if the public vote for him.

I would love Stacey to be in the semi finals.

Well I thought the Stacy and Olly were brilliant as usual (mind you I'm biased as they are from Essex).
Thoroughly enjoyed Danyls songs and Joe's too, he has an excellent voice but I really don't know what it is about him but I find him creepy, just can't put my finger on it tbh.
Poor little Lloyd is now really out of his depth and needs to go, but I doubt that will happen because of all the kids voting.
