:santa1: We cannot open our eyes after Halloween without seeing constant adverts for the ‘Perfect Gift’. Well anyone who has ever read the posts on this website or volunteered for organisations who help those in need will already be aware that what most people want is a bit of security and peace of mind.
Time and again I read threads beginning with ‘in tears’, haven’t slept for weeks’, afraid to open the door’ but ending with smiley emoji and quite often ‘WON’ added to the title. This is down to you all. You extraordinary people who give up so much of your time to selflessly helping others.
I said it before but I will say it again. Your input helps so many and not just the original posters. It offers encouragement and practical advice but most of all it offers hope. That is priceless. Hope will often make the difference between life and death -literally.:nod:
Every day each of you gives someone the gift of hope without ever receiving anything in return. It is important that you never forget that. If you are having a bad day or feel at the end of your tether remember there are people out there who will never forget you and the difference you made to their lives.
Well on behalf of the many thousands who have been given back their lives I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.:carols:
