  • Help for computer dummies

    Hello,
as you are probably aware, myself and I think one or two others, are not too clued up on this techi lark.
I would like to ask how I get a document from my files onto here?
I have copies of my credit agreements and T&C's and would like an opinion on them.
Hope I have made this clear enough, hope also you put your reply in VERY simple terms for me.
Thank you in anticipation. Enaid (computor dummy)

That's what I meant to say, I knew I wasn't on my own with this and to me it will be very helpful. Just a problem now, how to go back to certain probs, without maybe going through the whole thread, to find out if your particular question has already been asked.

Have you a scanner? if so scan it and file it into your Documents, from there copy and paste it into the forum. make sure you obscure personal details, ie, name and account numbers.

        Good luck,
        Hod..Liam..

Best way to get images onto here (scanned documents) is to host them with photobucket (free registration) (Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket) and then you can put a link into your post, which photobucket provide the details for, so you don't need the coding or anything like that

For documents (like word documents etc) then you can use the "add attachment" function at the bottom of the text box, when you click on "post reply, or "new thread". From there you click on "browse" to find the file that you require, and then click on upload.

                    HTH?

If you need anymore help. Send me a PM and I'll try and talk you through it on MSN?

Just one more question before I go, photo bucket makes the thing you are posting a lot smaller can I make them bigger ie so you can read the writing properly?

                          Copy/Paste

                          Hi Enaid

Forgive me if you know this-but have you highlighted the whole document before COPY

                          ie Edit|Select ALL
                          then Edit|Copy
                          then EDit|Paste

                          Turbo

                            no?
I click on me little box, doc shows up, so do I have to make it all blue before I press copy?

Yes because you can click on the file to make it bigger, at the other end, so to speak.
