True story.
About 2 weeks ago, my son bought a drill from a local DIY store.
Today I heard on the family grapevine that the drill casing had split. He phoned the store, to be told that it was nothing to do with the store; he would need to go via the manufacturer.
Hah!
Armed with a copy of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I was ready to take on the might of the retail giant!
I waited for my son to bring the receipt to me, & just before venturing forth, asked him when the 'split' had happened.
"When I dropped it off the scaffold", he replied!
