The government is obsessed with keeping us healthy. It spends millions ‘nannying’ us and steering us away from fried foods, fags and booze. Fair enough but consider this;

Suicide remains the leading cause of death in England and Wales for men aged between 20 and
34 years of age (24% of all deaths in 2013) and for men aged 35 to 49 years (13% of all deaths in
2013).
As with men, suicide is the leading cause of death among women aged between 20 and 34 years of
age in England and Wales, accounting for 12% of all deaths registered in this age group in 2013. It
is the third leading cause of death for those aged 35 to 49 in 2013 (6%)
So, are they really trying to ‘save us’ or just trying to cut the NHS budget?
