RIP Debbie Purdy

Debbie Purdy, who won a landmark ruling to clarify the law on assisted suicide, has died.
I know this is a highly emotive subject but I had such admiration for this lady who campaigned for people’s right to die. She had to resort to refusing food in order to escape a life of pain and indignity.
She was admired, loved and will be missed but I am so glad that her suffering is finally over.

An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!

RIP to an amazing woman ... she knew what she wanted, and went out of her way to get it! A woman after my own heart xx
