All those who have been watching the news this evening will be aware that a bin lorry collided into Christmas shoppers in Glasgow centre today at around 2.30 pm killing 6 and injuring several others. My hubby could have easily been one of those killed or injured as he walked passed that same spot just a couple of hours earlier. Our blood run cold when we heard the news!
I am sure all those reading this thread and hearing the news from other sources will be praying for those families receiving the horrific news of their loved ones. There is never a good time of year for such a tragedy but this time of year makes it so much more painful.
This is a reminder for ALL of us of what is most important in life - our loved ones. As long as they are safe and sound everything else in life pales in significance.
