If anybody is looking to buy a cheap E-reader then this might be useful to know.
Nook have slashed their prices from £79 to £29 but due to this reduction nobody has any in stock, I ordered one from Very at the weekend but have just received an email to say that it won't be delivered until after the 6 June as they have run out of stock (even though when I ordered it the website said they had them in stock
The good news is that a little birdy told me that Argos have just had a delivery of 10,000 into their warehouse today which will be available as a home delivery option as of tomorrow. They were unable to say whether any stores would be receiving any of the stock, but given the demand for this product they expect to sell the whole lot very quickly from the website and will not be sending any to the stores at this point in time. I intend to get one from Argos then if I'm successful in obtaining one from Argos then I will cancel my order with Very once it arrives.
Argos site is off line at present I have also posted a link to John Lewis which gives a full description of the product) The majority of reviews that I have read have given a favourable report and say it is a very good product (especially at £29!!!)
