  • How long?

    I probably should know the answer to this,I've loitered here long enough but I don't know so am asking you peoples
    How long can a bank (Halifax) dilly dally for after the FOS have upheld a PPI complaint?

    I know the answer to this, as I spoke to the FOS a couple of weeks ago.

    The answer is three months, if they still havn't done what they have to after that then it goes in front of a final adjudicator who then makes the final decision and I was told (believe this or not) that the original decision can be turned and be found in favour of the bank, in the meantime the FOS reckon they send weekly reminders to the bank.

      Thanks hunny.......First I knew of it was a letter from FOS telling me they had upheld a complaint I didn't even know I'd made msl: So,,3 months from March 11th,,I shall mark that on me calender xxxxx
