  • I'm looking for a 900mm high terracotta chimney pot S.E London

I need a Terracotta chimney pot, preferably Victorian no less than 900mm high and 150mm diameter with rolled top rather than fancy.

I have to get it by Tuesday for a fitting on Wednesday 8th May

I live in SE London and will pick up.

Anyone got one and can pop a photo up I'd be grateful. Re claim places locally haven't got one and I'd prefer an old one for my old building.

Anyone? Bit of a long shot, but hey ho!

    Thanks

    A1

    Have you tried these guys

    http://www.hotfrog.co.uk/Companies/A...alvage_2939740

They're in Battersea and always used to have loads of chimney pots.

Also, put a post on Freecycle.org.uk

    Good Luck
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Old thread without conclusion, so to close this I can confirm I found my Chimney pot in Hastings - £40 on ebay - sinch, came from an old Victorian House and just what I wanted so thanks folks...

I just hate threads started and left without conclusions
