  • Thank you all so much

I would really like to thank you all for all the support and friendship you have all so kindly given me. My life has been somewhat of a challenge this past year but my LB family have been my saviours and safety net and have stopped me from failing

My deepest gratitude to Celestine (Kate) for saving my home, my health, and me from bankruptcy. I would have fallen to pieces without you stepping in like a superhero and rescuing me. You are an amazing and inspirational person with a heart of gold, the strength of a lioness and the warmth of the sun. What you do on this is site is amazing and so are you

I would like to thank Eloise too for all the help she has so very kindly given me. Eloise describes herself as blunt but I don't think she is. Eloise gives honest, insightful, and clear advice - it’s not insensitive or hurtful - it’s just the truth and personally, I’d rather have the truth spelt out for me than going running off in the wrong direction and making a bigger mess for myself.

As Eloise says she is dealing with the law and the law is not emotional, its factual. There are loads of LB's posters that are supportive and kind and help with the emotional side, but Eloise is dealing with facts and realism of the situation. That’s what makes this site such an amazing place; everybody has their own roles and expertise and is excellent at sharing them. This site is like a family - only its full of people you would chose to have as family and not the nutters you ended up getting (well that’s true in my case anyhow!!)

I would have been in so much trouble if it hadn't have been for this site and I can never express my gratitude for the support, advice and friendship I have been shown.

I'd be very proud and honored to have a friends like Eloise, Celestine, Inca, Flaming Parrott, Clever clogs, Sappy, PT, Plan, Kafta, Leclerc and Tuttsi enaid, bluebottle and all the other LB's that have been my life line and saviours (sorry if I missed anybody out xx)

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart xxxxxx)

Fuzzy, I can't honestly count how many times LB have saved my sanity! I am a much wiser, relaxed and happier woman thanks to my LB extended family.

LB really do revive my faith in humanity.

Nah - we've still got the employment problems to sort out and Fuzzy will think of something else that needs sorting by the time we've done that But the kind words are very welcome, I am sure, from everyone.

          How're you feeling today Fuzzy?

As I am complete dummy with this sort of thing what does IFYPFY mean?? (i've only just figure out that LOL means laugh out loud and not lots of love!!)

And no, this isn't a goodbye at all (you're not that lucky). I intend to stick around and be a general pain in the backside to all and sundry, and hopefully might be able to offer the odd bit of sensible advice (although I wouldn't hold my breath on the sensible part!!) I just wanted to say thank you and how much I appreciate all of you and how you have helped me.

I'm feeling better today - the insertion sites of the javlins they used still hurt but its easing off. Bending is a very difficult and painful so as long as i'm either sitting up or laying down i'm fine!! Have taken today off sick as I don't think i couldn't have coped at work but will go in tomorrow.

IFYPFY is Cloggy's favourite acronym and the subject of a few discussions. It stands for:
                I
                Fixed
                Your
                Post
                For
                You

When he quotes a post changing bits of it, he uses that expression. It's one of Cloggy's hallmarks! :thumb:

Didn't you get signed off by the doctor? I know quite a few people who have taken weeks off for much less than that!

Nor did I. But I gave up trying to understand CC ages ago. When I do, I am not sure whether it says something good or not about me

Most of the time, you're better off not understanding!

Cloggy and I go back a long way!

Not immediately no -but they are creeping closer to it being the case. Fuzzy's level of sickness absnece is threatening her employment no matter what else goes on, and disability only mitigates this - in the longer term it will not save her. So yes, there is a need for being careful about sickness absence.

It also goes both ways, in my case as an employer I know that I can ask what I can do and not do to my staff, win, win situation I feel.
