    Anyone heard about this before?

Of course, am not interested in the claims firm, just the article!

    Re: bank overdraft PPI

I wouldn't believe a word of an article that claims that in 2009 ''banks were told to stop selling PPI full stop'', which is completely factually incorrect.

Although single Premium PPI was banned in late 2010 and sales of regular premium PPI were banned at the point of sale in early 2012, banks have never been told to stop selling it ''full stop''.

Didn't say I believed the article.
What I found interesting was the bit about PPI covering Bank overdrafts...never heard of it before!

Anyhow, a few days ago I was contacted by one of the big four banks, who appeared to be under the impression that I had made a complaint about the Mis-selling of PPI on my Bank account; a current account with an authorised overdraft.

I actually hadn't made a complaint to same but they are insistent that I have. But in any event they are going to turn down the complaint, that I hadn't made. Unless, they hear back from me within 28 days.
      Your couldn't make it up...!
