    Benazir Bhutto Assassinated

    It is a rare event that someone of great political ilk would be assassinated in the Modern Age. She was a very well known exile of Pakistan who returned to fight elections due in January 2008.

        She was. She was the first Female Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was also twice removed from power on corruption charges, documentation of which was provided by the French, Swiss, Polish and Spanish.

        There is no doubt in my mind she was a better person than Musharraf but I do feel the pedestal she has been on recently is a little bit to high. IMHO
