Sorry for the proud mum post but i had to share this...
My daughter is 17 and my friend came over tonight to cut my hair and during the hair cut my daughter asked my friend if she would cut her hair so she could donate it to The Princess Trust (a charity for children who have lost their hair due to cancer)
This was totally my daughter's idea and her hair has been her pride and joy for as long as I can remember, but she said that if she could make a sick child smile then it was worth it (yes, there was a huge lump in my throat at this point!)
My daughter has had 12 inches cut from her hair and we are sending this to The Princess Trust tomorrow.
I had to share this as I am so incredibly proud of her and her unselfish deed.
